Certified Public Accountant Managing Member
Ted Pioquinto earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University in 1998. Mr. Pioquinto’s audit career began with McGladrey, a national CPA firm.
He provides a broad spectrum of accounting, attest, and tax services ranging from write-up, compliance, and consulting for small closely held companies; to outsourced controller services; to personal income tax preparation.
He has clients in a variety of industries and brings an extensive background in real estate development and common interest realty associations. Prior to entering public accounting, Ted was an IBM business partner for seven years. In that capacity he gained valuable experience designing and implementing systems for manufacturing and distribution clients.
Ted comes to the firm with over 20 years of experience of working with clients, understanding their needs, and helping them attain their goals. He resides in Boca Raton with his wife, Harriet.
Certified Public Accountant and Business Advisor
Richard is an accomplished Certified Public Accountant experienced in a broad range of financial reporting, income tax, and consulting and advisory services. He has provided services to a diverse group of entities operating in a wide range of industries. Richard is a strategic accountant adept in all traditional public accounting services and many special services, including accounting, internal audits, tax filings, tax planning, mergers and acquisitions. He is also knowledgeable in domestic tax regulations as well as international taxation and foreign tax issues.

He is a graduate of Bloomfield College in New Jersey and has been active in the New Jersey and Florida Societies of Certified Public Accountants, serving on the Federal Tax Committee while residing in New Jersey. Additionally, Richard is an expert witness at both the State and Federal Courts. He is a licensed CPA in New Jersey, Florida, and Texas.
In his spare time, Richard enjoys golfing and sports car automobile racing. He divides his time as a resident of Texas and Key West.
Certified Public Accountant
We are pleased to introduce Mike Watson, who recently joined our team. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. Mike has been practicing as a C.P.A. in Broward County for over fifty years. He received his Bachelor of Science Business Degree with a Major in Accounting from Florida State University and began his career in the Fort Lauderdale office of PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Lybrand, Ross Brothers and Montgomery and Coopers and Lybrand). His experience there included training on the audit staff and income tax planning and preparation.
In 1980, Mike was honored by his peers and elected to serve as president of the Broward County Chapter of the Florida Institute of CPA’s (FICPA); he is a life member of the Florida Institute of CPA’s. Mike is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mike’s clients have included law firms, construction contractors, not for profit organizations, condominium associations, retail, and wholesale sales entities, medical doctors, and others.
Stephanie Forde is a dynamic, creative, and versatile professional with several years of experience in accounting, taxation, auditing, consulting, vendor compliance, and marketing in various environments.
Ms. Forde is a graduate of William Paterson University in New Jersey and is a licensed CPA in New Jersey and New York. She is a member of the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants, serving on the Federal and State Tax Committees.
Stephanie enjoys writing and is a contributor for the New Jersey CPA magazine; and is also a self-published author. She is an avid runner and is passionate about nutrition. Stephanie resides in New Jersy and is involved with her community, sharing her knowledge, and assisting seniors who need guidance with their finances.

Brandon works in the Firm’s audit and assurance area specializing in the common interest realty association industry. In this capacity, he advises clients through analysis of internal control and operational efficiencies, agreed-upon procedures, audits, reviews, and compilations. Brandon also provides tax and client accounting services with closely held businesses from a variety of clients ranging from construction, professional services, real estate, and retail. Brandon is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Accountants. He received his Bachelor of Accounting degree from Florida Atlantic University. He is an active member of his community in Boca Raton since moving from Connecticut in 2010.
Staff Accountant
Evy Brundrett is a graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in accounting. She joined our team in 2017 as an intern. Evy provides bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax services in addition to personal and business tax preparation. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and pets.
Staff Accountant
Lori is the most tenured employee, joining our firm on January 1, 2014. Previously, Lori served as treasurer for the Newkirk, Oklahoma School District for five years. Her experience provides valuable insight with our charter school clients, especially with state financial filing requirements. Lori also works closely with HOA and condominiums, providing invaluable assistance with bookkeeping and audit preparation and review.
Lori resides in her home state of Oklahoma yet maintains a daily working remote connection with our team at Boca Accounting.
Staff Accountant, MBA
Marisol Williams joined our team in July of 2022. Marisol provides accounting services to a variety of clients, including real estate partnerships, common interest realty associations (HOA’s and Condo’s) and closely held commercial entities.
Previously, Marisol was registered as a FINRA broker and investment advisor. She also owned and managed all accounting, finance, and contractual operations of a small commercial construction company for ten years. Her experience also includes residential retail and wholesale lending, and REO asset management.
Bookkeeper
Nina is a seasoned bookkeeper and joined our team in 2022. A native of Brooklyn New York, Nina has been in South Florida for 4 years now. Previously, Nina owned and operated a charter fishing boat business in Sheepshead Bay for 35 years. In her spare time, Nina enjoys spending time with her family. She is also a fabulous cook and baker. Nina is the only employee who attended Woodstock!

Carol is a professional with experience in accounting and banking. Her roles range from bookkeeping to real estate paralegal. One of her favorite jobs was working at John Scher’s celebrated Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey. While there, Carol wrote checks to multiple classic artists including Blondie, Pat Benatar, Bruce Springsteen, and The Grateful Dead. Carol also has a cameo on Miami Vice: season 1, episode 3.

Brandon Empsall, CPA works in the Firm’s audit and assurance area specializing in the common interest realty association industry.
Under this capacity, he advises clients through analysis of internal control and operational efficiencies, agreed-upon procedures, audits, reviews, and compilations. Brandon also
provides tax and client accounting services with closely held businesses from a variety of clients ranging from construction, professional services, real estate, and retail. Brandon is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Accountants. He received his bachelor’s
degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University. He has been an active member of his community of Boca Raton since moving from Connecticut in 2010.
